Intel® Server Board S5500BC USB mouse and keyboard does not work on certain DOS Applications. USB Keyboard and Mouse to stops responding when certain DOS applications such as Ghost and MaxDos V6/V8 's Tool (1st level menu not affected) is launched.

To resolve the issue, go to the BIOS Utility by pressing F2 on boot. Under Advanced, go to USB Configuration and set Port 60/64 Emulation to Disabled.
 

Note This setting is Enabled by default.

 

Advanced settings


Press F10 to Save and Exit from the utility. The USB Mouse and Keyboard should work properly.
