Error:

This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.

Why does this error occur?

The error message can occur for multiple reasons:

  • You have the wrong driver.
  • The driver and the OS version don't match. Example: you cannot install a 64-bit driver on a 32-bit Operation System.
    • Go to Control Panel > Systems and Security > System. Under System, the system type is either a 64-bit or 32-bit OS.
  • You do not have Intel® graphics.
    • Contact your system or motherboard manufacturer for information on BIOS settings.
Note You can save time by using the Intel® Driver Update Utility to identify your system configuration and automatically update your system with the driver you need.

Error:

A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer.

Why does this error occur?

The Intel® Driver Update Utility can't update the driver. Installing a generic Intel® driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver can cause technical issues. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

See Computer Manufacturer Graphics Driver Detected for more information, including how to override the error message and manually install Intel® generic graphics drivers.
