No Video and Two Beeps During Boot for Intel® Desktop Boards

What is the problem?

Intel® Desktop Boards that support processors with Intel® HD Graphics will not boot properly if all of the following are true:

  • The processor installed does not include support for Intel® Graphics Technology.
  • You have plugged the monitor into the onboard graphics connector on the back panel.
  • You have not installed an add-in graphics card.

In this situation,there will be no video displayed on the monitor and you will hear two beeps.
 

How to fix it

To resolve this problem, you can either install and use an add-in graphics card or install a processor that supports Intel® HD Graphics.
