Power Supply Connection for Intel® Desktop Boards

If you don't properly configure and connect the power supply to your Intel® Desktop Board, damage to the board can result. The board may also not work properly.

  • Verify that the power supply has the capacity to power all the devices used in your computer.
  • If the power supply or the AC outlet has an on/off switch, make sure that it's turned on.
  • Connect the power supply to the matching power connector on the board.

2 × 2 or 2 × 4 power supply cables and connection:

2 × 2 OR 2 × 4

2 × 12 or 2 × 10 power supply cables and connection:

2 × 12

  • Make sure you correctly set the voltage setting on the back of the power supply. This setting is based on your location.
