Challenge
Elements and requirements. Hardware support requirements must account for use both in and out of a classroom and include whiteboards, PCs, laptops, projectors, printers, and more. Solutions must be able to streamline both student and teacher activities, protect children from harmful content while allowing them access to resources for learning, and enable parental supervision.
Solution
Critical Links developed its Education Appliance to work seamlessly with Intel powered classmate PCs through a wired or wireless network. This dedicated “always on” appliance allows teachers to design and create educational content and activities. Teachers and students can use a Web browser to access services and applications from their laptops and Intel-powered classmate PCs.
