Hello,As the NDA seems to be over, I have few questions about HD4000 and OpenCL.I am testing performances of HD4000 embedded into IVB (i7 3720QM), with OpenCL GPU.
Can we use printf function with the GPU HD4000 ? or, is there is a solution to bypass this limitation ? it's for debugging , have you any better solution ? THX, Mohamed
Hello, I'm running OpenCL on Intel's HD4000 GPU. It seems that this GPU has no vector calculations. According to the query: CL_DEVICE_PREFERRED_VECTOR_WIDTH_FLOAT The vector width is 1. Which means that float4 calculations are executed as 4 float scalars.
I have a memory issue with the HD4000 GPU: I use a simple kernel that performs 2 simple operations, I run it over hundred of times (in a host loop), before each call I release all device and host buffers like this:
Hi seems even new 2012 macbooks with Ivy on Macos doesn't get OpenCL support for HD4000 graphics.. Is Intel working on that?
Hello, I would like to know whether the Mobile IGPs in the Ivy (hd4000) and haswell(4600) are able to output 1920x1080 at 120hz via displayports(either 1.1a or 1.2)? So far I have only been able to find the maximum resolutions at 60hz; however, nothing on...
This sample: http://www.opengl-tutorial.org/intermediate-tutorials/tutorial-16-shadow-mapping/ (Executable here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zhytp394xmx6mpx/tutorial16_shadowmaps.rar ) Produces the attached result with weird red rendering on my HD4000 with ...
Hello,I'm using the HD4000 embedded into i7-3720QM, to help an h264 encoder.I am wondering if it's possible to disable the power management of the HD 4000 to make the frequency stable at 1GHz. I think the turbo mode kills my performances.GPU-z shows me th...
Seems OpenCL 2012 SDK doesn't support OpenCL on IVB GPU on Linux? it's right? must we wait for 2013 release? also seems intel is using a "GHAL3D" LLVM backend for OpenCL on GPU.. are you planning on open sourcing it similar to AMD open sourcing AMDIL back...
Hi: I have kernel which is defined as local size=16, global size=256, and in each workgroup there are 32KB shared memory allocated. I run my kernel on Ivybridge 4000, and got the GPU idle state account for 75% percent, which is fine. As per half-slice the...
