Mike Witteman, director of Strategy, Planning and Venturing for Intel Labs, is responsible for leading the teams that deliver many of Intel’s Strategic Technology Programs including Technology Strategic Long-Range Plan (TSLRP) and WorldMap Global Technology Outlook; the marketing of Intel Lab’s innovations; management of Joint Pathfinding; the Intel Library, Intel Press (creator of technical books), Intel Labs operations, and Venturing.
Since joining Intel in 1989, Mike has held a variety of positions, including director of product development for Intel’s internet media services and video conferencing businesses, manager of Intel alliances with major telecom providers, and various product management and market development positions in the Intel systems business. Previous to Intel, Mike was a management consultant at Accenture where he was an expert in relational databases.
Mike earned his Masters of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University.
