These step-by-step instructions provide the flexibility to innovate and take full advantage of Intel vPro technology capabilities. The list of use cases below will expand over time to include additional use cases, including use cases that apply to other manageability software consoles.

Responsiveness Technologies Intel® Smart Connect Technology Designed to update programs by periodically waking your computer from sleep/standby mode for a short time. This function works with applications that automatically get their data from the Internet, such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Windows Live Mail*. This saves users time; when they wake their PC, new emails are already downloaded.
