Intel® HD Graphics P4000: Significant Step in Performance
The Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 v2 product family is built on Intel’s 22nm process using 3D Tri-Gate transistors. The improvement to the on-die GPU, Intel® HD Graphics P4000, represents a new high-end offering of processor-based graphics for entry-level workstations. It is equipped with 16 execution units (up from 12 in the previous generation), and also includes improved geometry performance, fast clear of render target, and increased compute throughput. The Intel HD Graphics P4000 processor-based graphics will support Microsoft DirectX11* standard, OpenGL* 3.1, and OpenCL* 1.1. In addition to improvements in both 2D and 3D graphics performance, Intel® Quick Sync Video 2.0 technology will help to deliver improved video conversion and playback up to two times faster than previous versions and as much as 23 times faster than integrated chips from three years ago.
