Intel has exciting Operations Finance internship opportunities for undergraduate and MBA candidates and accounting internship opportunities for undergraduate candidates. As a member of the Finance intern team, you'll analyze business issues, recommend solutions, demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving abilities, and work with peers and business partners to influence decisions that maximize shareholder value.
The Finance Summer Intern Program is a 12-week assignment within an Intel Finance group where interns undertake a challenging project designed to blend strategic and operational work. Your manager will provide you with a detailed project plan, meet with you regularly to provide support as needed, and help you network within the company to ensure an incredible internship experience.
You will also be assigned a controller-level mentor and peer level buddy, and you will attend frequent educational and fun events. Your internship will culminate with a high visibility presentation to senior management and the Intel Finance community, as well as to the operations group you support.

Intel offers one-year and two-year summer intern programs. Intel Finance is looking for undergraduate and MBA candidates with graduation dates within the year following the internship, having a degree emphasis in finance, economics, or accounting, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate strong financial technical, problem-solving, influence, ability to develop knowledge of the business, teamwork, and communication skills. In addition, candidates must possess a firm understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships; accounting and control knowledge is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to deliver results quickly while working in a dynamic, cross functional, team-oriented environment.
Note: Students must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction**, and complete a required background investigation.
**Intel hires qualified applicants who are fully authorized to work in the U.S., i.e., individuals authorized to work without any time- or employer-related restrictions. People with temporary work authorizations, such as students in practical training status (i.e. F1 visa), will be considered only for positions where Intel is experiencing a demonstrated shortage of candidates with a particular skill. Intel cannot hire students from controlled countries and/or countries requiring export licensing.
Though applications are accepted year-round, Intel usually recruits interns in the fall preceding the calendar year in which the candidate is seeking an internship.
