The Intel Guadalajara Design Center plays an important role in the development of telecommunication integrated circuits.
Acquired by Intel in 2000 for the breadth of knowledge of the experienced telecom design team, this design center is focused on designing optical system solution demonstrators (line card reference designs), supporting optical silicon products through the development of the associated evaluation boards/systems, and developing high-speed testing toolsets for facilitating Intel lab work.
The talented workforce performs activities ranging from silicon development and validation to BIOS and research activities. This team has contributed to multiple validation projects, one of the main competencies at the site, and is contributing to solutions for future platforms.
Intel Mexico supports technology education through the Intel® Teach Program. Through this program, which uses the latest technologies, Intel employees train primary and high-school teachers to use technology effectively in the classroom.
