Intel® Accelerated DSP Software: Programmer Guide
The Intel® Accelerated DSP Software Version 1.1 is a set of software modules for Intel® architecture-based processors that provides basic voice and signal processing functionality required to connect an audio device to the network implementing Voice-over-Internet-protocol (VoIP).
This document explains the Intel Accelerated DSP Software Version 1.1 architecture, and provides guidelines and examples to application developers.
Note: Intel Accelerated DSP Software Version 1.1 is referred to as ADS throughout this document.
The Intel Accelerated DSP Software Programmer’s Guide specifies how you can interface with the Intel Accelerated DSP Software. This document provides more application information on how the interfaces can be effectively used. Some examples are given for illustration purposes.
This document is intended for third-party software developers who are using the Intel Accelerated DSP Software to build Integrated Access Devices (IADs) such as Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), IP Mediaphones and IP-PBX transcoding applications. It is assumed that the reader has general knowledge of VoIP applications and products.
