Application Note Scope
This application note describes the implementation of the Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) using the IXP42X product line and IXC1100 Control Plane Processor GPIO pins. This includes the I2C protocol, hardware interface implementation, and I2C software written for the IXP42X product line and IXC1100 Control Plane Processors running under Wind River Systems VxWorks*.
