Personal area networks (PAN) assist in wireless remote acquisition of medical information, vital to many healthcare settings.   • Intel® VT allows a real-time operating system (RTOS) to run simultaneously with Windows XP*.
  • Can run both Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Intel® VT-d) and Intel® Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT) for IA-32, Intel® 64 and Intel® Architecture (Intel® VT-x) and handle up to 20 radios.
  • Shimmer* with Bluetooth* radio and EMG sensor pads sense up to 70 mV differential between pads.
  • USB port driver handles Bluetooth in the RTOS.
  • LynuxWorks LynxSecure Hypervisor* runs with Red Hat* and Windows XP on a Portwell platform.
