Intel® Platform Extends Scalable Architecture to Smaller Systems: Product BriefThe document describes the features of the Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1125C with Intel® Communications Chipset 8910 platform, which extends scalable Intel® architecture to communications and embedded systems. Despite its smaller footprint, the platform retains performance features, including workload acceleration, multicore processing, and virtualization. The platform’s acceleration features are ideal for applications such as wireless infrastructure, branch office routers, midrange security appliances, and storage. With the Intel® Data Plane Development Kit, packet processing speeds can be improved to handle increasing network traffic data rates and associated control/signaling requirements.Platform virtualization is enhanced through Intel® Virtualization Technology, which allows the operating system more direct access to hardware.Read the full Intel® Platform Extends Scalable Architecture to Smaller Systems Product Brief.
