The Intel® Core™ i7-600, i5-500, i5-400 and i3-300 mobile processor series is the next generation of 64-bit, multi-core mobile processors built on 32-nanometer process technology. Based on the low-power, high-performance Intel® microarchitecture code name Nehalem, the processors are designed for a two-chip platform, as opposed to the traditional three-chip platforms. The two-chip platform consists of a processor and platform controller hub, Intel® 5 Series Chipset, which enables higher performance, easier validation, and improved x-y footprint.
