Embedded Ethernet: Intel® 8255X and 82562 Controllers

The fast Intel® Ethernet Controller 8255X family provides integrated functions for high-performance, embedded Ethernet applications. They provide optimized solutions for high-speed data transfers and low-cost, embedded applications.

 

The fast Intel® 82562 Gigabit Ethernet PHY family of controllers are highly integrated platform LAN connect (PLC) devices combining 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX physical layer capabilities and providing a core ingredient of the enabling solution for the integrated networking connectivity in Intel® I/O Controller Hub 2/3/4 (Intel® ICH2/3/4)-based platforms.
