Intel Sponsors MIT App Inventor Capability
The latest MIT App Inventor release includes a BluetoothLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) component made possible in part by a grant given by the Intel University Program Office. This extension supports a new protocol that is the preferred choice of communication with IoT (Internet of Things) devices that have limited power resources.
Intel Embedded Research and Education Summit
Intel sponsors an annual research and education summit where college professors, students, and Intel engineers worldwide join to learn and evaluate the work completed by the program schools and to experience the latest technology from Intel.
Intel Embedded Workshop – Brazil, May 2012
This workshop provided professors and academics with an overview of embedded Intel® Intelligent Systems, the Intel® Atom™ processor, and the Intel® Boot Loader Development Kit (Intel® BLDK). Several sessions were presented by Lori Matassa, one of the authors ofBreak Away with Intel® Atom™ Processors: A Guide to Architecture Migration, on selected chapters from her book. Laboratory sessions used material from the companion text, Break Away with Intel® Atom™ Processors: Architecture Migration Activities by Lori Matassa and Max Domeika.
