• After attending free PC training, Lubna used her new skills to improve her work practices and reach out to the world beyond her small town to find new designs to boost her business.
Lubna Javed is a 29 year old woman from Shaheed Benazirabad, a small rural district of Sindh Province. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Civics and Islamic Education from Government Degree College, Shaheed Benazirabad in 1992. Soon afterward, she started a tailoring business to help support her family.
When Lubna heard that the Teacher Training Center at Shaheed Benazirabad was conducting PC training for adults, she was excited and registered for the workshop. “I attended the Intel Easy Step Workshop and learnt about computers for the first time. I was so motivated as a new user that I decided to purchase a computer for use at home. The experience completely changed my life” said Lubna.
