Classmate PCs Align Education and Technology in Brazil
The case study looks at how Brazil’s state of Pernambuco aligns technology with education through the distribution of the Intel® classmate PC – convertible to high school students.
Convertible classmate PCs engage students and teachers with an interactive experience and provide access to broader resources than those available in the traditional classroom.
The goal of the project is to increase reasoning abilities, individual and collective perspectives, and critical thinking to contribute to the nation’s progress as a whole.
