Pre-tour checklist for teachers - Use this checklist to help plan a successful visit to the Intel Oregon Information Center.
School visit date:_______________________

Things to do after you have a tour date confirmed.
_____ Reserve a bus. Schedule bus transportation following your own school district's guidelines.
_____ Arrange your bus transportation with school bus personnel. After the tour contact the Northwest Regional Education Service District, (503) 614-1410 to apply for a transportation subsidy grant (up to USD 500).
_____ Make sure the bus driver has directions to Jones Farm Conference Center (JFCC) - 2111 NE 25th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124.
_____ Plan to allow enough travel time to arrive at the Information Center on time.
_____ Bring a cell phone and call (503) 712-7500 if you will be late.
_____ Assign one chaperone for each group of 10 students.
_____ Make sure the chaperones have read the guidelines for a successful visit.
_____ Encourage students to bring pen and paper for notes.
_____ Confirm any special needs your class may have by filling in the appropriate information when completing your tour request.
_____ Review the guidelines for a successful visit with students, which include behaving safely.
