OpenMP* performance using SPECOMPG*_base2012

SPECOMPG*_base2012 contains a suite of 14 end-user applications that focuses on parallel computing performance using the OpenMP parallelism standard. The benchmark is based on compute-intensive applications that emphasize the performance of the computer processor, memory architecture, parallel support libraries and the compilers. The SPECOMPG*_base2012 performance metric shown is the calculated from the geometric mean of 14 normalized ratios when the applications are compiled with consistent compiler options across all programs of a given language: 8 use Fortran, 5 use C, and 1 use C++.
