Virtual drives simplified

The Intel® Modular Server Storage Management Pack enables local copies of any LUN (virtual drive) when it is not being actively used by a compute module. This capability does not require any special software to be run on a compute module, simplifying tasks such as creating a local copy of a data LUN, creating a new OS LUN, and copying an existing LUN which already has an OS installed in it.

• Operating system provisioning/deployment

Activate the software

This software upgrade is activated by typing in Intel® Modular Server Storage Management Pack license key on an Intel® Modular Server. The license key is generated with a unique paper pack ID number and midplane serial number at the Intel Modular Server license key activation website.
