1. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 requires a PC with a processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology capability. Intel Turbo Boost Technology performance varies depending on hardware, software, and overall system configuration. Check with your PC manufacturer on whether your system delivers Intel Turbo Boost Technology. For more information, see www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/turbo-boost/turbo-boost-technology.html.

2. Intel® Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel® HT Technology) requires an Intel HT Technology enabled system; check with your PC manufacturer. Performance will vary depending on the specific hardware and software used. Not available on the previous generation Intel® Core™ i5-750. For more information including details on which processors support Intel HT Technology, visit http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/hyper-threading/hyper-threading-technology.html.

3. Small Business Finance with Intuit QuickBooks*, Microsoft Excel* 2010, Corel WinZip* 14, and Microsoft BitLocker *. The user is responsible for finance/accounting in a small business and needs to update inventory, determine new order levels and run management reports. In this scenario, the user has multiple applications (Adobe*, Microsoft* Word, Intuit Quickbooks Pro*) and browsers open and is running Microsoft* Outlook and Instant Messenger*. In addition, the system is running Microsoft BitLocker disk encryption and a virus scan. The user opens his company's file in Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2010 and then creates a backup. He processes multiple reports and exports a Profit and Loss report to Microsoft Excel 2010. He then saves the report and creates a WinZip archive containing reports, attaches the newly created .zip file to a new email in Outlook 2010, and closes QuickBooks.

4. Creating a Training Document with Microsoft* Office* 2010, Adobe Photoshop Elements*, Adobe Premiere Elements*, Corel WinZip* 14, and Microsoft BitLocker*. The user is responsible for marketing in a small business. The business is opening a new location and needs to train its sales team and update the company website. In the scenario, the user has browsers open and is running Microsoft Outlook and Windows Live Messenger. In addition, the system has Microsoft BitLocker disk encryption enabled and Symantec Endpoint Protection installed. The user first uses WinZip to extract an encrypted file containing previously confidential documents and photos that are now ready for wider distribution. The user edits several photos using Adobe Photoshop Elements and copies and inserts them into a Word document and PowerPoint presentation. He saves the presentation and converts the Word document to PDF format for publishing. The user then compiles an email to send the training material to the company sales team. In addition, the user edits a training video using Adobe Premiere Elements.

5. SYSmark* 2007 preview is BAPCo's latest version of the mainstream office productivity and Internet content creation benchmark tool used to characterize the performance of the business client. SYSmark 2007 preview features user-driven workloads and usage models developed by application experts.

6. SiSoftware Sandra* 2010 (System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is a diagnostics utility and synthetic benchmark test suite that includes several tests for measuring the performance of the processor, video adapter, memory controller and on-board devices. We use Sandra 2010 to measure AES256 CPU cryptographic performance.

7. MobileMark* 2007 is a benchmark used to evaluate notebook PC user experience by measuring both performance and battery life at the same time on the same workload.
