The Intel® 8255X Fast Ethernet Controller family provides integrated functions for high-performance, embedded Ethernet applications. They provide optimized solutions for high-speed data transfers and low-cost, embedded applications.
The Intel® 82562 Fast Ethernet PHY family of controllers are highly integrated platform LAN connect (PLC) devices combining 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX physical layer capabilities and providing a core ingredient of the enabling solution for the integrated networking connectivity in Intel® I/O Controller Hub (Intel® ICH2/3/4)-based platforms.
