Le schede di rete Intel® Gigabit ET e EF Multi-Port Server sono la terza generazione di schede di rete Intel PCIe GbE. Basate sul controller Gigabit Ethernet Intel® 82576, queste nuove schede di rete rappresentano la fase successiva nell'evoluzione delle caratteristiche di rete GbE per le aziende e i data center. Le caratteristiche includono il supporto per processori multi-core e l'ottimizzazione per la virtualizzazione server.
