INTEL DESKTOP BOARD TECHNOLOGIES
Highly optimized hardware to support Intel® Core™ processors, Graphics, and memory tuning.
BIOS Vault Technology protects desktop boards, providing fault-tolerant and secure firmware operating and upgrade environments. Intel® BIOS is protected from outside attacks and enables advance security checks and balances.
Fast Boot speeds through boot times and eliminates unnecessary delays by storing your system configuration—skipping testing if no changes have taken place since the last boot—and enabling the user to power on in just seconds.
Intel® Motherboards provide this unique feature, which keeps energy consumption to a minimum. By working with Intel’s Turbo mode features (power-when-you-need-it), CPU regulation dynamically turns power phases on and off in the CPU VR, depending on the power required by the CPU.
This active monitoring device ensures system protection from power supply failure, surge currents, and over-current conditions. In the event of excessive power spikes or sudden power rail droops, the system will automatically shut off power flow to the motherboard—protecting critical components.
