There were fireworks at the end of the first full day of ELECTRIFIED, literally. As performers took to the Tesla Coils and David Blaine crossed the 24-hour mark, the Hudson River was lit up by an amazing display of fireworks. The Intel-inspired Ultrabook™ connected Beijing and London to David's coils in New York. The world participated in David's fantastic feat of endurance again, and the social energy of tens of thousands of tweets triggered David to issue a one-of-a-kind message. The fireworks marked a fitting end to a monumental day in David's history of performance.
Here's what David typed using a custom-made keyboard that accounted for the interlinked chain-mail of his Faraday suit:
first 24 hours of 73. The people have been a great distraction, but this is my most difficult one without question. sleep depravation so far is fine, but wearing a 27 pound suit of chain mail the entire time while styandinhyg the whole time caused my feet to swell so bad that i ripped a hole the size of my fist which could have been a nightmare. then i was spitting out water w salt, since i haven't eaten in 2 weeks and need electrolytes, and the current hit it almost knocking me out. felt like the hardest punch going thru my mouth, mast my heart all t6he way into my toes. have a whole new respect for tesla coils. not tesla though because i already have the utmost respect.
