The Client Aware Cloud
Above all, the cloud should be client aware. While the benefits of enterprise mobility are almost unanimously recognized, there is a focus now on how to fuse enterprise mobility with the cloud. There is a wide range of mobile devices that have different capabilities, combined with various emerging platforms—from smarter smart phones and tablet platforms to more powerful laptops. Since not all devices are created equal, and IT consumerization continues to rise, the user experience can suffer in the context of cloud computing. In the coming years, it’s important to strive for a dynamic state in which devices and applications automatically react to each other to ensure the best possible service, whatever the client device.
