IT@Intel: Enterprise Security

Enabling the business while minimizing risk

The benefits of running IT like a business

The increasing speed of business and the abundance of technology options have dramatically changed today's IT environment. We are thinking differently about how we engage with our business partners and how we deliver solutions to support their business needs.  We are focusing on improving in scale, efficiency, agility and productivity.

Meeting our objectives takes ew ways of thinking about IT. We are using strategic planning and well-defined performance metrics to align with business goals. We are changing to a user-oriented, service model environment to better support the needs of our customers. We also have a new approach to information security that seeks to reduce risk while increasing business agility.
