An added layer of hardware-based security
We trust our computers, tablets, and other devices to keep our personal information private. However, with hackers becoming increasingly more sophisticated, keeping your identity protected online requires more than a user name and password.
Now devices with the latest Intel® Core™ processors come enabled with Intel® Identity Protection Technology (Intel® IPT). This technology provides a level of security unlike any other. So whether you go online to keep track of finances or to keep in touch with friends and family via online social networking sites, you can be sure that your favorite Intel IPT–protected websites know it’s you logging on.
Peace of mind online
Intel IPT adds an extra layer of built-in security by linking your device to your online banking accounts and your favorite social and shopping websites that are enabled for Intel IPT.1 This extra protection is invisible to you—and to thieves.
When you access your Intel IPT–enabled website, Intel IPT validates that it’s you. It also verifies that you’re logging in from a trusted computer or device. Even if a thief discovers your user name and password, your account can’t be accessed without your device—the two are inextricably linked.
Safeguard your identity
Intel IPT is built into the latest Intel Core processor. Websites partnered with Intel IPT help protect your login process, keeping your identity safe and putting your mind at rest.
To ensure your identity is secure while you’re online, follow these simple steps:
Simple, secure transactions
If you own select Ultrabook™ models, there’s yet another way to protect your online transactions—one that combines Intel IPT with tap-and-pay security via near-field communication technology (NFC).

Rest easy while you’re on the go
While Intel Identity Protection Technology protects your identity and assets online, Intel® Anti-Theft Technology (Intel® AT) helps protect Ultrabook and other mobile devices in the event that they’re lost or stolen. This smart security hardware can detect potential theft or loss and disable your device by locking it down—automatically or by notifying your service provider. And when it’s returned, it can be easily reactivated without harm to your data or digital content. This intelligent technology is included in devices based on select Intel Core processors.2
