Support Multiple Drive Technologies in your SAN

The addition of 2.5" SATA solid-state drive (SSD) and non-SSD SATA hard disk drive (HDD) support enables HDDs with SATA interfaces (native SATA and SSD) to be accessed by both storage control modules. This new feature also enables mixing drive technologies in SAN (all drives must be the same within a specific storage pool) and changes the activity LEDs to match Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) HDDs.

Must use the latest version of the Intel® Modular Server Firmware.
