Best Practices
The explosion of interest in cloud computing has inspired several key industry groups to work on
establishing best practices and standards around security. Nearly two-thirds (64 percent) of companies
surveyed have had their planning efforts influenced by the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), and more
than a third mentioned the Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) and the Trusted Computing Group (TCG),
followed by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF).
