At Intel we are committed to environmental stewardship and improving the quality of life in our community. In 2000, Intel Washington shared the EPA Region 10 Evergreen Award. The Washington site contributed to the region's environmental efforts by recycling nearly 80 percent of its solid waste over the previous three years and effectively managing the use of chemicals on-site.
Rideshare
Intel Washington provides commute trip reduction options for its employees, both to comply with state law and to help reduce congestion and pollution in the Puget Sound area. Intel offers its employees the Rideshare program for carpools, vanpools and vanpool start-up assistance. Intel is ranked number one by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency among companies that offer commute options that help preserve the environment.
