Volunteer Matching Grant Program
Under the Volunteer Matching Grant Program, the Intel Foundation donates USD $80 in unrestricted funds for every 20 hours of Intel employee volunteer time at a school or qualified education activity. Intel Computer Clubhouses and public and private schools are eligible to receive matching grants.
In the Philippines, 2825 employees volunteered their valuable time during the 2006–2007 school year accumulating 333,113.5 hours at 33 public schools. This resulted in USD 832,100 being donated. Many hours have been spent in local classrooms mentoring students and helping teachers.
