Intel Oregon has a comprehensive strategy for:

improving the number and quality of recent college graduate hiring
continuing education for employees
supporting research infrastructure in the state

In 2006, Intel contributed $3.1 million to Oregon higher education in the form of research grants, scholarships and equipment donations.

Universities
Oregon State University and Portland State University have provided the largest number of new hires for Intel. Intel also hires a significant number of graduates from Portland Community College, Oregon Graduate Institute and the University of Oregon.
