Intel and the Portland Trail Blazers have teamed technology with sports to create an exciting community and education based competition, the Intel/Trail Blazers Engineering Challenge! Teams from 9 local high schools will be chosen to design, engineer and build a unique t–shirt launcher.

Upon selection, each school will receive a tool box which will include a $400 gift card for supplies. Intel volunteers will be on–board to assist during the design period (Sept — Dec), and the launchers will be used center court at a Trail Blazer game in December.
