Through the Intel Involved Volunteer Matching Grants Program, the Intel Foundation donates USD 200 for every 20 hours Intel employees or retirees volunteer at kindergarten through higher education schools. During the 2007-2008 school year, volunteerism by Intel Oregon employees generated USD $601,960 in Intel Involved Volunteer Matching Grant funds to 280 local schools.

Education-related volunteerism includes National Engineers and Technicians Month presentations in local schools, participation in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), the Intel Science Talent Search (Intel STS) and broad support for Intel Oregon LEGO* League Robotics tournaments. Intel Oregon volunteers also conduct Intel Oregon Information Center (IOIC) tours for thousands of local schoolchildren.
If your school has opportunities for Intel Oregon employees to add value by volunteering, let us know by filling out an Intel Volunteer Request Form.
For additional information about Intel Oregon involvement in schools contact the Intel Oregon Education Manager or call 503-264-1868.
