In 2004, Intel New Mexico began a process to collect input and insight from its neighbors to create a plan to develop the eastern slope of its property. Work on Intel’s “East Slope” was completed this year with a new 5,000 ft. long paved path commecting the Rio Rnacho, Corrales and Skyview neighbors. The pathway is open for walking, biking and equestrian use. A 2,300 ft.-long meadering waling path has also been contructed at the southern end of Intel’s property, offering neighbors panoramic views of the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande River Valley. Nearly 2,100 native trees and bushes have been planted in the area.
