Intel Celebrates 10 Years in Kulim
Kulim, Malaysia, May 25, 2006 – Intel today officially opened the Kulim Design and Development Centre, a USD 40 million centre within Malaysia's Kulim Hi-Tech Park. Petaling Jaya, April 6, 2006 – In support of the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP), Intel Malaysia today announced that it would ramp up collaboration with local universities, to drive the implementation of decision science as an engine for productivity growth. Intel aims to equip local graduates with the right skills and knowledge to make them more employable in a digital economy. Decision science, which teaches a scientific approach to decision making, will train local graduates to solve problems by mathematical optimization, simulation modeling, statistical and computing methods.
