Intel Corporate Affairs
international contribution information
Intel Corporation is committed to maintaining and
enhancing the quality of life in the communities where the company has a major
presence.
Our primary giving focus is education; we have strong interest in supporting
education and community programs that deliver the kind of educational
opportunities that all students will need to prepare themselves to succeed in
the 21st century. Intel vigorously supports education through grants for
programs that advance science, math and technology education.
Intel is also committed to the responsible use of natural resources, and
funding for environmental programs will be considered. Within this broad
category, Intel continues to give priority to programs with educational and
technological components.
Intel will support additional programs that improve the quality of life in its
site communities. These requests will be evaluated on the basis of the services
offered and the program's impact on the community; its impact on the youth of
our community; the cost-effectiveness of the program and its ability to be
effectively measured and replicated; and the potential for Intel employee
involvement.
Intel sites typically will not fund:
Programs outside the site community (see below)
Endowment or capital-improvement campaigns
Unrestricted gifts to national or international organizations
Sectarian or denominational religious organizations, such as churches,
missionary groups or funds, whose activities primarily benefit members or
adherents unless funds are being sought for purposes that will benefit the
broader community

establish entitlement to contributions to a similar organization at another
Intel location.
