| Intel Foundation Volunteer Matching Grant Program |
|
The Volunteer Matching Grant Program (VMGP) supports schools in all United States communities where employees reside. Beginning in 2004, the program was piloted in two sites, Israel and the Philippines and in the 2005 school year, the program was extended to include Costa Rica, India, Ireland and China (Chengdu and Shanghai). For the 2007–08 school year, these volunteers helped K–20 schools and Intel Computer Clubhouses receive over USD 4.3 million in VMGP donations, a 49% increase from the previous year. VMGP volunteers supported over 1,100 K–20 schools and Intel Computer Clubhouses.
