VTune™ Performance Analyzer for Linux* now supports 2.6 kernels like Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0, SuSE Linux Enterprise Server* 9, SP1 and Red Flag Linux 5.0!
If you have already installed the VTune Performance Analyzer 3.0 for Linux and have a current license, simply follow the steps shown below. Be sure you uninstall the existing version prior to installing the update. If you want to evaluate the VTune Performance Analyzer 3.0 for Linux, just register for an evaluation copy and be sure to click “Yes I want free support” at the bottom of the Thank You screen. Then follow the steps below to download the update.
To get the update:
- Register for technical support if you have not done so already. (No additional cost during the evaluation period.)
- Log in to Intel® Premier Support and click the "File Downloads" link on the left side of the screen.
- Choose the VTune™ Performance Analyzer for Linux* product and click the "Display File List" button.
- Look for the latest updates for the product. Each file has a description to the right of the file name.
- Click on the file name to download the file.
- Follow the install procedure.
