- Online help with step-by-step instructions through the DLL modification process

The Performance DLL Data Collection SDK installs a wizard with a fully referenced class library into Microsoft Visual Studio*. The wizard creates a working Performance DLL template that provides two static counters (programmable with 4 different events) to the VTune analyzer. Using this framework, a developer can customize the template to build a performance DLL data collector specific to a software application or device driver. The Help file, which is added to the Start menu upon installation, provides step-by-step instructions and reference material for guidance through this process.
