Intel® Threading Building Blocks Open Source

Intel® Threading Building Blocks (Intel® TBB) is an award-winning C++ runtime library that abstracts the low-level threading details necessary for optimal multi-core performance. It uses common C++ templates and coding style to eliminate tedious threading implementation work. An Open Source version of Intel® TBB is now available.

Academic pricing includes individual user and concurrent user licenses. Users also get one year of support and product updates, which includes major and minor releases.

Student Pricing
 Intel offers a suite of development tools under a single user license for many of the most popular Intel Software Development Products to individual students at prices ranging from $49 to $129 per seat depending on the operating system required. We also offer a few standalone cluster tools for students at greatly reduced prices.

A student is defined as full and part-time matriculated students of a higher education institution defined as a public or private, vocational school, correspondence school, junior college, college, university, or scientific or technical institution.
