There are two Intel® Parallel Application Centers (PAC); one is located in Champaign, Illinois, and the other in Bruehl, Germany. Each PAC is a state-of-the-art lab equipped with the latest Intel hardware, advanced parallel performance tools, and a staff of highly-skilled parallel applications engineers. The PAC offers a high-security lab environment where Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and other software developers can enhance applications for parallel execution on multiple Intel® Architecture (IA)-based processors. PAC services include:
- Serial to parallel migration of applications on IA-based platforms
- Assessment of thread-safety for libraries
- Analysis and tuning for parallel execution
- Access to experts in threaded, parallel and distributed computing
- Access to and training on the latest parallel debuggers, performance analysis tools, and methodologies
