Cluster Software Licensing Information

The Two Basic License Types

Intel now offers a fixed single developer license and floating licenses for 2 or 5 concurrent users. The Single Developer license is provided to an individual for use only by that person. Floating licenses may be used by anyone and are limited by the number of simultaneous users.

Licenses are not tied to the size of a cluster

Cluster Software Pricing

The table below lists the prices for the various license types and Support Services Renewal. Pricing is also given for the individual product packages and the Toolkit editions, which offer significant savings.
Purchase of any Intel® Software Development Product includes one year of Support Services. Support services include:

Technical support (Intel® Premier Support)
Product upgrades

Customers can download any new releases of Intel® Cluster Tools, including major version releases, under the support license. Support Services Renewal extends these two valuable services for an additional year.

Floating and Academic Licenses are only available from one of our many resellers or directly from Intel at (Intel.software.sales@intel.com).
