Intel® Collateral Builder Creating professional-looking marketing collateral is expensive and time-consuming. All program members can take advantage of Intel-branded direct-mail letter, postcard, and brochure templates that they can customize and mail to publicize their offerings.
However, once you join a program initiative or technology-enabling project and optimize your solution for Intel platforms and technologies, you also gain access to the Intel® Collateral Builder. The Intel Collateral Builder is an online, wizard-driven tool that you can use to more deeply customize marketing collateral to your needs. You can select your target market, collateral format, colors, images, and copy, add your own copy and event dates, preview the piece, and send it directly to an Intel-approved print vendor or your own vendor with just a few mouse-clicks.
The Intel Collateral Builder is currently available in English, Russian, Spanish, and Chinese. Members access the tool by logging into the program website and joining an initiative or technology-enabling project. If your company has already joined an initiative or technology-enabling project and completed its optimization work, you can then access the tool from the ‘Market & Sell’ phase of any of your current initiatives or projects by selecting it from your partner dashboard. Marketing Asset Kits Another great marketing tool is the free Marketing Asset Kit. Designed to highlight the value of Intel® platforms and technologies as an important element of your solution, these kits—available in English only—are ideal for use at events. These kits include reference cards, notepads, signage, and posters for Intel® Core™2 Duo processors, Intel® Xeon® processors, Intel® Pentium® 4 processors, Intel® Centrino® Duo processor technology, Intel® Viiv™ processor technology, and Intel® vPro™ processor technology, and Intel® Itanium® 2 processors.

Sales Campaigns Another benefit available after you have joined an initiative and optimized your software for Intel platforms is to participate in a sales campaign. 2 You join with Intel, other ISVs or hardware vendors that contribute to your solution along with an Intel-provided advertising agency to produce a creative, customized direct-mail campaign.
Two leading education software developers and Intel Software Partner Program members, Agilix and Blackboard, teamed up with Gateway to create a portable educational computer and a sales campaign to promote it. The results? “Having our name associated with market [segment] leaders like Intel, Gateway, and Blackboard helps us build relationships and credibility,” says Mark Calkins, vice president of marketing for Agilix. “To produce a campaign of this caliber and breadth would have required two to five people dedicated at least half-time, which are significant resources for us,” adds Calvin Stroud, director of partner marketing for Blackboard. The Intel Software Partner Program orchestrated another such partnership between Cakewalk, a music technology company, and Sweetwater, a music technology retailer, and also supported their joint efforts with a sales campaign. “I was very excited to see that our sales with Sweetwater for the duration of the campaign have been up over 50 percent, particularly for SONAR. The campaign results were beyond my wildest dreams,” says Carl Jacobson, marketing director for Cakewalk. “The campaign saved a month’s worth of time for three of our employees.
