India, Bhopal, June 11, 2011 – Intel India today inaugurated the ‘Computer Mela’ in Bhopal to showcase a range of personal computing devices for first-time PC users along with Airtel Broadband Connections.

Speaking about the mela, Suryanarayan B, Director – Sales and Marketing Group, Intel India said "Intel is committed to making computers more affordable and accessible to help enhance lives through technology and innovation. A personal computer is a multifunctional device that allows consumers to do more things simultaneously and explore the wonders of the internet in order to harness today’s technological advances to prepare for tomorrow’s challenges."

Wide array of devices to drive Internet access

At the Computer Mela, a variety of Lenovo personal computing devices were displayed, giving consumers an option to select the device best suited for their computing needs. Local PC partners also showcase their personal computers on offer. The Intel® Atom processor based Entry Level Desktops and Netbooks are designed to be compact, energy saving, smart and sleek devices which provide a basic computing and internet experience to the users at affordable prices. If consumers want to go for performance, they can choose from a mainstream desktop powered by All New 2010 Intel® Core Processor Family Range with the Intel® Core i7 processor based PC being the optimal choice for high-end gaming and multimedia experiences.

Computer 'MELA' in Bhopal

Inaugurated by Intel, the Computer Mela is an effort to reach out to first-time users in Bhopal. At the 'Mela', Bhopal based channel partner Deep Computer will showcase a wide range of their personal computing devices from the 11th to 12th of June. As a special offer, on the spots gifts will be given that would include a 4 GB Pen Drive, Head phone, Card Reader, Antivirus, Dust Cover and Mouse Pad. The 'Mela' begin on June 11th and will continue till June 12th at Hotel Arch Manor, Plot no.243-A, Zone-1, M.P. Nagar, Bhopal (M.P.)
