Ireland Innovation Open Lab extends Intel’s European Research and Development efforts
30th September 2009 - Intel Labs Europe (ILE), today unveiled the latest Innovation Open Lab located at the Intel Ireland campus in Leixlip Co. Kildare. Intel Ireland launches a communications campaign in support of the Lisbon Treaty
Intel Ireland recently announced that the company is to campaign in support of the Lisbon Treaty. Launching the campaign in the Science Gallery, Trinity College, Dublin, Mr. Jim OHara, General Manager, Intel Ireland and Vice President, Technology Manufacturing Group, said that for him this was a matter of personal conviction and corporate social responsibility. Chernobyl Children visit Ireland
On Monday 20th July, 25 children from areas in Belarus, close to the Chernobyl region, were hosted on a special day trip by Intel Ireland employees. The children were being hosted in Ireland by the Lucan Group of Chernobyl Children Appeal (Irl), a registered charity which was formed in 2002 and which has since organised over two hundred and fifty holiday trips to the Lucan area for children and teachers from Belarus.
